Yep.

They’re making decisions that have impacts on longtime fans and donors to make accommodations (most probably unnecessary) for one season.

Very short sighted thinking.
The funny thing is, I generally don’t get pissed about donor relation/schmoozing stuff, but I am pissed about this.

I still prefer the "free" lot. Unlike football, where having yellow lot passes is awesome since we tailgate, I don't care at all about a half mile walk to and from the RAC and I like saving $$.

My son-in-law arrived with my APC parking pass but unknowingly entered the Green lot where we’ve parked at least the last few years.
They waved him in to the Green lot without issue.

There wasn't one game that I went to last year where the vip lot or the green lot was close to being full.

We get to a lot of games after tip because of my kid's after school activities and the vip lot and the green lot were never close to being full last year.

Last night we got there right before halftime and it was the same thing. Tons of available spots in Green.
Not sure, but maybe the issue is that students park in Green and don't vacate until shortly before game time.

My guess is they wanted to arbitrarily set a higher priority point limit for the Green lot, so next year when everyone is feeling good about what a great season we had, they can push us all to donate more to get back into that lot. There is no chance that next year the priority point limit is going to go back to where it was.

And there is no way all those spots they cleared out are reserved for VIPS. The old VIP lot is still there and mostly empty. Even with additional media/scouts/GMs, etc, they are not going to use all those spots. The building has been full for years and the VIP lot is never near capacity, so how is it going to fill up now?

More lies from Rutgers. Right out of the playbook of “homeland security” guidelines about food/drink in football games.
