I guess getting it done can mean different things to different people. For me, it’s getting in the playoff once every 6 years or so. 68 teams in the power 4. 10 will go a year.
For Schiano, it may be making it to the dukes mayo bowl once every 6 years.

Same here. Discouraged but won’t give up on getting to another bowl. Just wish the injury situation wasn’t as bleak, meaning having hope of getting guys back vs. season ending. A team and a fanbase never needed a bye week more than this one.Il dispirited right now

I'd say the program needed a good year to build on. If they lose out, it will be tough to recover from.
A playoff birth every 6 years or so?! I applaud you for smoking the finest of crack for some of us to dream! I just wanna beat Penn State. Say what you want about the threshold but that's the coach I want, the guy who beat's their ***!
Bowl? Everybody and their sister goes to a bowl game now. How about beating a Top 25 team ( if we even play one).
I'm tired of all sports now.
They've become very corporate in feeling
Looking at schedules is like walking down detergent aisle in grocery store.
Jets, Dallas, Giants, Bills reads like Tide, Percil, All, Arm and Hammer and so on.
The TV is full of ads and TOs with cliché-plagued announcers (dude jumps 18 " for a ball and its "amazing athleticism" ).
Then the bimbo questions and point spreads
Then there is the sloppy play but all the flexing still.
Right now I have the Jets/NE game on and I'm not really watching it.
it's a new era in college sports, not all will like it and stay the course.
Others will accept the change ( grudgingly) and gradually learn to live with it
