“Kyle projects as a true interior nose tackle at 6-foot-3 and at least 320 pounds. Kyle fills out his uniform, he's broad chested and very athletic for his frame. Not only does he do the dirty work inside the trenches – occupying blockers, gaps and slowing down the interior run game – he's also able to generate a pass rush from the middle. Kyle is dangerous, stripping the football, and making plays after the fact.

"For a man of his size he moves extremely well, following the football and can make plays out of position. We love his upside as an athletic interior defensive tackle that’s able to generate a pass rush and do a lot of work to slow down the running game.” - Sam Spiegelman, national recruiting analyst

So was the '27 OT from Delaware in the article. Looks like Rutgers and Penn St. are the major competitors thus far, though with the 4* I'd expect more to get involved. Waste of time for Akron.

Rut roh...gonna have to fend off the big boys now for this big boy.

Rivals giving him a 4th star will have zero impact on who is and isn't recruiting him. College coaches aren't using recruiting sites to figure out who to go after.

Sure they do.
Player skill aside, coaches get gold stars and fairy dust for recruiting success.
If Joey Bagadonuts gets a bunch of 4 stars to commit he gets noticed - maybe gets a HC job

I never mentioned coaches. Boosters and NIL organizations might be more inclined to get involved and throw money towards players once they are rated higher. For a lot of these better players, they want $$$ and might follow the money trail. That's still a potential rut roh for Rutgers.

I wonder where he’ll end up. Top Recruits will flee here like birds in a raging forest fire.

The bright side is, West Chester U transfers won’t require much NIL.

Let's hope we can hold onto him, because it's not like any recruits in attendance the last two weeks are going to be clamoring to come.
You are a real ray of sunshine who gets active on posting when things go wrong. Great way to be.
