I think AK easily played his best game by far.
There were no TDs but there were some nice long passes on ropes.
287 passing yds with 9.6 avg hasn't been seen around this team in a long time.
A couple of sailing balls on the sidelines could have been nice completions but still a lot of good plays.

He's serviceable with a good OC. Our OC has OCD and likes to do the same thing again and again. The INT late is on KC imo.
That is a problem.
Announcers were remarking about how many times they were seeing the same plays over again.
The late INT was on 5th run of same pass play.
I always say opposing DC's don't have a lot of work to do prepping for RU

I feel like that interception was on AK. If he places that ball towards the sideline it's a reception.

It shouldn’t have been thrown to that target. Crossing rout underneath was wide open. But the int is equally on the receiver. He needs to meet the ball. Our receivers wait for the ball to come to them instead of attacking the ball. We have an aggression problem in this program.

Yes, this. WRs are taught to come back for the ball, especially on long outs where they should be expecting a DB to be breaking on the ball behind them. This loss was solely on the D - best offensive game of the year and best AK has played.

YES.. that was the 4th time he went to it. 2 is enough.. by then you pull the double move on that same look and end up with a TD pass as safety comes up and deep is open.

I don't even think playing it too often was the full reason, DBs try and bait a throw to any receiver who is not moving fast. The receiver looked open so AK threw it. Just good defense.

I was discussing you with someone else on this board the other day, and I said while you post a lot of stuff I disagree with, you are a stand up poster, and you are merely posting your thoughts, and you stand your ground. Nice post. Felt bad for Athan and the players today for what the coaches did today.

I also noticed the same plays being being run too often. I'm sick of the lack of creativity in our conservative play calling.

Still doesn't scan the field at all. When he receives the snaps he looks right to where he intends to throw the ball. There were a few times he tried to run when there was no pressure on him. And went nowhere.

Athan had a pretty good game, the INT notwithstanding. Receiver should go get that ball. And picking on #6 late...that match up should have been exploited all day...was it not there until late?

Bottom line: you score 32 you should win, provided you have a competent D. We don't, so we didn't. Can't pin this L on the offense.

Appreciate it.

AK wanted to win bad today and hustled his butt off.
