4 plays 90 yards. And we didn’t want that kind of offense.
To be fair Longo’s offense hadn’t taken hold yet until last week probably. Their fans were getting antsy. Still not sure it has but I thought he was a good hire for them but we’ll see over time.

GS said he wanted that kind offense at his intro presser but it never materialized with Gleeson and in his hearts of hearts not really who GS is and now we have something under KC that more mirrors what GS is comfortable with.

Longo is in Year 2 right?
It takes time

I remember when Dino Baber took over Syracuse.
He said it takes 1.5 to 2 years to change the offensive identity to playing fast and scoring.

As well as future NFL players Al Blades, Philip Buchanon, Mike Rumph, Dan Morgan, William Joseph, Damione Lewis, Nate Webster, Andrew Williams, Jonathan Vilma, DJ Williams, Antrel Rolle, Darrelle McClover, Vince Wilfork, Jerome McDougal, Sean Taylor, Roger McIntosh, Kelly Jennings, Alfonso Marshall

That's why I don't like RU's "just execute and we win" philosophy.
If you execute with talent like that things are easy.

And to make things even "better", according to a posting on the board there are a record number of recruits at the game to witness this debacle. -Well, I suppose they can always be pitched playing time.

The offensive play calling is so limited it could be put on a 3/5 card.Rutgers quarterback performance has really regressed in the last two games.Opponents have no fear that Rutgers will complete a pass for more than 10 yards.Rutgers competing against Wisconsin is a good measuring stick as to how far they need to improve to be a above average B1G Ten team.

This program will never go anywhere until they clean house and start over. I don't know why so many were begging for another go around of this.
I have said it MANY times, they are in the wrong conference. They should be in the ACC. They would have a chance to accomplish something!

Djabome didn't even move from his starting spot until the RB cut to the outside. Who is coaching these LBs?

I’ve always been with you with regards to offense and thinking it’s the avenue with most potential to overachieve your status on the CFB landscape.

That being said, I think the change in clock rules last year can make the ball control keep away philosophy be more effective than the past.

A couple of positive things from today's game. RU saving on cannonball shells and the traffic on River Road won't be bad after the game. Dreadful performance so far.

Longo had a track record of implementing this offense. Gleeson did not. Schiano had the opportunity to bring in longo twice this go around and once the previous.
And yes I know there was interest for longo to be back in jersey.
