Fun fact about the KC-Baltimore game. It was an old fashioned 1-0 pitchers duel, in which the losing pitcher pitched into the ninth inning.

As pointed out by Jayson Stark of The Athletic, the last time that happened in a postseason game, the winning pitcher was Babe Ruth.

I doubted Jayson Stark at first because of that game 7 between the Braves and Twins in 1991. But after looking it up, John Smoltz "only" pitched 7 1/3 scoreless innings, while Jack Morris pitched 10. Still pretty incredible for both pitchers.
