I think RU better find a pass rush. This is a balanced, pro style attack with a very accurate and experienced QB with a bright HC. Rogers will not miss those downfield throws that Drones did. I see a higher scoring game than many:

I’m going low scoring. Washington’s defense is legit and while they have a good QB, I’m not sure how much is around him. RU wins 20-14.

Hope that Northwestern is as bad as they say otherwise Washington will be a tough game. Given NW is bad then we shouldn't give up 24 points. As AK and receivers progress we should put up at least 28 points. Expect Sam to get a bigger % of plays than last week, but also expect Kyle to get back on track. Also cross country trek takes a little out of the team.

I really don't know how I feel about this game. If we wound up beating Va Tech convincingly, and we didn't let them just climb back into that game, I'd have a different outlook. What are Washington's weakness? Do they line up well with our strengths?

I think NW is probably pretty decent on D. Offense is a different story. Their QB is easily the worst QB in the BIG and their only legit RB on the roster Cam Porter didn’t play against Washington.

Rutgers 31-20.

Will Rodgers will do his thing and Washington will score on two deep passes. The bend but don't break defense works well for most of the game. We will get a long TD as well against an inferior secondary compared to VT.

I fear this also
In some ways the defense seems to be not as efficient this year, possibly due to the loss of our star defensive back

Fourth quarter, we were stuck in the mud, gassed a bit

I can see two long bomb tds against us, unless we really get after the QB for once

On the other hand, we most definitely will be the most physical team Washington has played thus far this season. Good chance our OL bullies them late in the game with the run.

II would take a 2 point W but I am expecting to beat them by 13

This along with other UW need to be the defining wins…losing to the corn in Lincoln and usc in LA would be nothing to be too upset by…the two UWs at home are a must!
