I would not be surprised if he does not play until the VT game. They have some depth at LB and Powell should not be rushed back.

At the most he would have limited minutes against Howard and Akron. However, I would not be surprised if he didn't see the field until the VT game. We do not need him for the first two games, and that would give him almost another month to get in game shape.

Yes.
He can stay off the field until the 4th week of season. That’s almost a full 5 months of recovery.

Week 2- Akron
Week 3- Bye
Week 4- VT
