Eric Musselman's father Bill was 61-32 coaching Minnesota in the Big Ten. One of his players was Dave Winfield. His 1972 team was infamous for its brawl with Ohio State.

Rutgers played that Minnesota team with Winfield in the 1973 NIT. Lost 59-68. Last game coached by Dick Lloyd. 1st round NBA pick
Jim Brewer was also on that team. Rutgers had freshmen Sellers & Dabney and assistant coach Dick Vitale.

Not relevant with a coaching change, Michigan probably has less than 3 returning players.

RU has 3....Davis, Ogbole JWill....and Ogbole and Davis are probably fighting for minutes, which kinda means it's really 1 to 2 players.

5 frosh, maybe 6 if we land Vinson or Mikic

But it is surprising that no players transferred from Arkansas to USC, following the coach.
