They acted as though it would a great time with no consequences.

From the NYT article "A protestor on a bike pulled up to a police baracade with a crowd of Met Gala watchers and chanted 'don't send bombs to kill civilians!'. A man in the crowd shouted back 'Let's go Knicks!'. The bike rider responded 'That's not funny!'.

Actually, it was funny

Coming from a guy who lives in Cali, which makes NJ look like MAGA country.
NJ is little Ca. It’s little bro. Whatever Ca does, lil NJ is sure to follow.

I think your gov has a crush on Hair Gel. It’s really weird.

they know all it does is undermine other minority candidates that the leftist agenda doesn't want to count as minorities: Asians, which include all folks from Asia, not just people whose background is Chinese, because they want to clump everyone together as a mass entity despite having the most people in the world and plenty of them poor as hell in the US that lose out on opportunities due to Affirmative Action. Most Asians are brown too LOL.

For the parents and students that are considering the new Ivies, do you go to one of the schools when there are no scholarships or financial aid from the school when the cost is at least $50-80k annually? Do you accept a less prestigious school like Rutgers or Pittsburgh that provides full scholarships?

Is it unusual for a Jewish doctor to be awarded an honorary science degree?

She is an assistant secretary down in Washington. How many assistant secretaries get honorary degrees? Is she getting the honorary science degree because of the science or because she's trans?

I have no idea. I would guess it would depend on your view of trans people and if it is a mental illness or if it has some basis in genetics.

I have heard people make a case for either.

the protestors certainly do, whether the posters do is another story but I find it odd that they are going out of their way to support the protestors so.....

Those of us who actually attended Rutgers know it has the second largest Jewish community of any college in America and many of the protesters there and nationally are Jewish.

It's unsurprising that non-alums whose news sources pay out 787M would have no idea.

How many people have gotten honorary degrees because they're straight? Show me some groundbreaking research or crisis management and that's one thing. But there are assistant secretaries running all around Washington and I don't think they are all hauling in honorary degrees.

Must be a real slow day in the CE trailer park.

Well, no one on that board has to worry about a career, a hobby, or a friend or family member who loves them, so...

What better to do than call everyone an anti-Semite while worshipping a rapist who says very fine people on both sides of a rally where "Jew will not replace us" is chanted?

Plenty of people who were of a background that was fighting for acceptance have been awarded with honorary degrees.

It's only a very small, sad subset of posters actually compelled to pay for internet friends to share in groupthink so unpopular and embarrassing it had to be hidden behind a paywall.

And your tiny, rattled brain has me confused with someone else. Never drove a Prius.

Plus there's lot of free ways to get access that those of us with actual RU degrees know all about.

If i wanted to watch people with no college degree advocate violence and get every prediction wrong, there's more interesting places.

Many of these “new Ivy’s” use the same sliding scale for aid that the Ivy’s do. So it’s a wash financially

I’d say he’s been more than accepted considering

So the anti-semitism isn't on campus.

It's on your keyboard.
Looks like some of the hate and fear crowd really don't care about antisemitism
If a Jewish person doesn't meet their bigoted standards. Why else would they go after Dr. Rachel Levine who was honored by The Anti-Defamation League with their Courage Award in 2020.

ADL Regional Director Shira Goodman spoke about the the award.
“We are doing a special virtual event and we wanted to recognize someone who really epitomizes courage and what it means to stand up against hate. And we thought Dr. Levine was the perfect person to honor this year,” she said.

no one gives a **** about Rachel Levine being Jewish, nothing to do with it, so why make a disengenous post, she is getting the award because she fits into the DEI bs that is very prominent at Rutgers

I bet Riley Gaines the woman chased into a closet by a rabid bunch of woke hateful students in California has more courage
