Def a shame Indiana State isn't in this game.

Now they're bricking free throws badly.

The second straight year a team 💩 the bed in the First Four, losing by 25 points in Dayton. Nevada did it last season.

Just because UVA **** the bed doesn’t make St John’s and Seton Hall any better. They would have lost by 15 each but they would score more than 42 but probably give up 85

Hindsight is 20/20, we’re all aware of that, but UVA never belonged.

St.John's with Pitino would have defeated Colorado State.

If you’re Ricky is so sweet why didn’t the Johnie’s make the dance?
Because of upsets in league championships that took away bids. The Mountain West getting six bids and the Big East only six makes no sense.Seton Hall deserved a bid because they had 13 league wins including over UConn.

They got lucky against UConn early in the year. They got beat by 30 in the rematch. 4 of their league wins were DePaul and GT who absolutely sucked. They beat nobody out of conference. In no way did shu deserve to be in

Virginia was the 201st Offensive Efficient team. I would recommend not taking any team that is below them, Colgate 209th, Montana St 231st, Grambling 297th, St Peter's 306th, and Wagner 332nd

Virginia got in because they were 17-10 in Q 1/2/3 games and Seton Hall was just 11-12

Many people said Nevada losing by 22 last year was proof Rutgers should have been selected instead.
Even Oklahoma State. Nevada finished the season with three straight quad 3 losses. You can’t have the lack of quality wins that Nevada had and also have 3 q3 losses. Baffling

The narrative that a single result in an NCAA game justifies a team getting a bid or not drives me crazy. The resumes that everybody dissected a few days ago are instantly thrown out the window.

Agree with that
That being said in the month of February alone, they lost at home to Pitt by 11, lost at home to UNC by 10, lost on the road to Va tech by 34, and lost on the road to Duke by 25. When you combine that with their lack of quality wins, they did not deserve to get in. Shocking the two teams that had zero business getting in last year and this year (Nevada & UVA) both got boat raced

But in this case did confirm that most said they should not have gotten in.

However, you can't prove the negative.
SHU may have gotten blown out as well.

The usual assumption is "see they got blown out. They shouldnt have been there. The other team should have gotten the chance."

The assumption is never that the team left out would have done just a bad.
Only that they would have done better.
