Not to veer off topic, but if a car is classified as a classic and is driven as a classic (i.e. well taken care of, minimal mileage per year compared to everyday use vehicles), the insurance can be dirt cheap…I’m talking like $300-$500 annually (depending on value of the car). Just have to seek out an insurance company that specializes in collector vehicles.

I have Haggerdy and they actually don't have a mileage cap as they know you'll take care of your classic. I'm on a the hunt for another and almost recently bought a 67 firebird that I was going to use a daily (redone as a daily with a crate motor etc) and would only pay classic cost. Haggerdy doesn't ask you your mileage verification

I think most insurance companies don't have a mileage restriction anymore simply because it's easy to disconnect on older cars, which many were doing with daily ridden classic cars.

For those of us that watched drag racing in our youth we saw the best of best. Top Fuel and Funny cars were the king. The late 70s through the 90s had the most exciting time in the sport. Back in the good days of ESPN Drag Racing had the great spot on Sunday night after football was over. Wasn't live but from that day and condensed into an hour or two for the big days.
