POLL: Most unlikeable visiting coaches

[RUBubba]

Ok, taking this from the other thread... Who is the most unlikeable visiting basketball coach?

[shields]

Like Underwood.

[RUforester72]

Slappy!

[G- RUnit]

I’m aging myself but back in the day Gerry Gimselstob of GW.

Then I looked him up to see whatever happened to him and saw he died of leukemia. :-(

[RUsojo]

Objectively I’m not sure it can’t be mccafrey

[DC8690]

Like Underwood.

Me too, no issues with him.

How is Bobby Gonzalez not running away with this poll?

How is Bobby Gonzalez not running away with this poll?

Because he hasnt been to the RAC in years.

[RedTeamUpstream94]

Because he hasnt been to the RAC in years.

Almost 15 years ?

Despite my comments about Cooley i went with franny just cause we see him much more often

Agree with comments above - why is underwood on this list?

Tom Young and Gimelstob despised each other.

[bac2therac]

Gonzo

Because he hasnt been to the RAC in years.

Fred Hill’s and Bobby Gonzalez‘s hatred of each other used to get written about in the NYT.

And I never hated Willard, but he should be on the list. Seton Hall (imo) is our “rivalry”.

[Mr. Magoo1]

For all the old-timers like me, it’s Gerry Gimblstob

[Scarlet Shack]

Fran and Juwann top the big ten list BY FAR

[ColonelRutgers]

John Chaney and John Calipari need to be in the conversation if including former visitors like Boeheim.

[Westcoast]

Me too, no issues with him.

I saw that and assumed we were playing Pitt in football, not Brad. Lol

For me, it's Bobby G. He was an absolute clown on the sideline and his teams were rife with total scumbags. That '09-10 SHU team was a potpourri. You had Keon Lawrence driving the wrong way on the Parkway and nearly killing someone. Sticks Mitchell and Kelly Whitney robbing people at gunpoint. Herb Pope popping someone in the balls, mid-game. All culminating in Gonzo stealing the satchel from Short Hills mall.

So does Joy Behar.

Julost Howard has my vote. Coach Fran is a popular choice but from what I've seen he's at least a decent guy off the court. Howard would and should've been fired after punching Gard after that Wisconsin game.

[MV9000]

Hate Howard but going with Fran. His over the top bitching to the refs getting a game called differently going in to the second half never fails. He is a giant baby.

[G- RUnit]

I never had problems with Boehim. He was complementary to RU and came to the RAC when many would not. He was okay with Duncan and Hughes too.
Now Cuse fans are a whole different story

How is Bobby Gonzalez not running away with this poll?

The two obvious choices are Bobby and Fran . There must be some unrelated reason for picking Howard.

How is Bobby Gonzalez not running away with this poll?

His own fans hated him before very long!

[LeapinLou]

Conversely, I like Underwood, Painter, Izzo, and Woodson. They seem like good guys. Many will disagree, but Willard is OK with me as well.

[jordkap]

Howard is truly unbearable.
