Any word on how we can buy tickets to the game at Seton Hall? Are they going to open up the top of the Rock for that one?

They’ll probably claim there was some sort of cybersecurity issue that prevented them from selling to Rutgers fans

Currently tix in ALL but 2 lower level sections available. There's NO WAY they open the top until these are sold out so, knowing the game they played last time, UNLESS these are GONE by 11/20 I doubt they bother opening them up. Probably isn't cost-effective for them anymore UNLESS they are assured of selling them out (which I believe was the case the last time 'Nova came in as National Champs in 2019 IIRC?).

I bought two tickets for the lower bowl on Seat Geek -- they haven't been delivered yet as I assume all tickets will be delivered electronically to season ticket holders at some point and then I will get them.
I have no idea where RU fans will be sitting but I will be in Section 13 as it was best I could get

Me and a bunch of my buddies got a suite. They are available if you call. Came to about 250 a man. Shame Seton Hall fans wouldn't have gobbled those up ahead of time 🤣
How many people are you splitting that between?

All I said is that there are tix available in all but 2 sections so AS OF NOW I doubt they open the 2nd level. Don't care if it's "resale" or not, right?

You’re coming at me with unnecessary aggression bruh.

SHU won’t lift the curtains cuz they don’t want the overall crowd close to 50/50.

They are cutting off their nose to spite their face imo. Lost revenue for a program that can certainly use it.

Both RU and SHU currently restrict access to tickets from the away Team's fans. The tickets to these games were easy to buy until RU restricted access a few years back which caused SHU to follow suit.

The difference is there are no more seats to sell at JMA. It was completely sold out last December.

SHU can lift the curtains and sell thousands of more tickets to fans of both teams.

SHU Athletics could really use the $ too.
They are not giving hoops fans a chance to go attend the game

I have always said that both teams deserve the right to distribute tickets the way they deem best. However, the situation is not the same.

- Rutgers is able to sell every ticket to an RU fan due to the size of the RAC.

- Seton Hall can not sell every
ticket to a Pirate fan, they choose to sell less tickets by keeping the upper decks closed.

Again, they have every right to do so.

The decision to open up the upper levels requires a guaranteed near sellout of the entire Arena due to the increased costs of providing access to the upper levels. With that said, its each school's call regarding access of tickets to opposing fans.

Wrong

Felt lifted the curtains to games in recent years which weren’t close to sellouts. I attended a few.

He can choose to take the small time approach of course but it’s the wrong one.

I'll play the BS card here.

Thanks for admitting it.
you’re looking very clueless trying to say they only opened up the curtains for guaranteed sellouts.
No game has completely sold out yet though a few Nova games had high numbers.
A Maryland game I attended I sat in the upper level but many sections of seats were empty

Games listed at this link had the curtains lifted.
A basketball sellout is 18k

Total hogwash. They could easily open up the center sections one side. One concession stand, a few ushers Unless you're paying those workers $250 an hour, it's a total crap.

Just admit SHU doesn't want to do it because they don't want Rutgers fans flooding the building.

Admitted. Now just admit that RU doesn't want SHU fans in the RAC for the same reason. Rutgers was the first to restrict ticket access to SHU fans and SHU retaliated. It's a "tit for tat" situation with both schools having the right to set their own ticket sales policy.

Not an issue currently. 99% of the RAC is now season tickets.

Neither schools want the other ones there. Also, yes, RU was the first one to restrict and both schools have the right to set the sales as they see fit.

I would think though if RU wasn’t able to get rid of all the tickets they wouldn’t keep the unsold ones and just say we are fine with 75% attendance. Eventually they’d put the 25% to general public.

SHU (as is their right) is just not selling seats. I personally don’t get it as the crowd noise from the upper levels really isn’t that significant (loser bowl really dominates the floor noise) so why not take the extra revenue in to the department but hey smarter people than me run the departments.

That's not that bad. Split among how many people?
