People need to realize what it’s like to be in Dylan’s shoes and the amount of attention, pressure, expectations he’s receiving as a top 3 recruit in the country. On top of it is the Rutgers factor.

Imo he’s handled his recruitment totally fine. He’s keeping things close to the vest and enjoying his time playing ball all over the country, training and traveling. Now he’s looking forward to his senior year in high school.

The people being ridiculous are the fans who won’t let him be and make the decision on his own time.

I agree it COULD possibly be a bad sign for RU that he hasnt already committed but I disagree with others in this thread who have already come to the conclusion that it IS a bad sign.

agree 100%. the kid has done nothing wrong. has made no promises. he is taking his time as he is entitled to do.

the problem is in the minds of adults who are being impatient/ entitled about a decision to be made by an 18 year old.

Yup exactly - unless you know the kid really well, you can't really know, and even then, he's a teenage boy - not exactly known for being creatures of logic (teenage boys in general, not a specific comment on DH).

Or he simply likes the recruiting process and wants to get everything he can from these programs. I would imagine that his Mom will have a big say in where he goes ultimately. I also think that while we don't want to believe that NIL is part of his decision, I am sure it probably is now with some heavy hitters in the NIL world coming after him.

Yes, Dylan’s mom will have input as to whom he chooses however it will be up to him and ONLY him. I hope he comes but let’s be honest. The longer this goes on the more difficult it becomes to secure his commitment to Rutgers. There is actually no other reason but to drive the NIL price upwards . I still think we are his choice but not sure Dylan is anywhere decided.
