His situation is a little curious in my mind. He got dinged in game 1 but was playing in game 2. Since game 2 he is not available but no mention of his injury or status.

I am wondering if Jackson had passed him up on the 2 deep since Jackson has emerged as a deep threat and this led to Long taking a leave from the team?

Anyone know more on this?

I have heard the expectation is for him to be back this year and that he is okay. I am interested how this plays out though as we are getting later into the season.

Hope he does come back. I believe he was our leading returning WR from last year and is one of our few deep threats. Worst case maybe this is a redshirt year for him.

I am wondering now if they are going to hold him out and only play in 4 games. Hopefully his medical timeline is going to plan still.

He's definitely faster than Washington but probably not Jackson or maybe even Dremel.

R U sure about that? Last year's Michigan game he caught a pass and was ahead of the field and was caught from behind very easily. Many on this board agreed at that time that he is not very fast.
