We used to teach the RBs to see chin, split chin when picking up a LB blitz. That was text book. Lost my mind when I saw it live.

Mike Teel and Eric LeGrand were really impressed and talking that up on the radio. Great job by the crew today, particularly Mike Teel who does a really fine job on the analysis of the QB play and break down of each play.

Kyle was listed by one source at a 4.49 40 coming out of high-school. Didn’t realize he was quite that fast based on his build. Brown certainly has a faster top speed but for the first 5 yards Monangai is for real and will drag LB’s and safeties for another yard or two.

Exactly.
As a former HS OL I tell players struggling with blitz blocks that they have to be the hammer and not the nail.
When you see the blitzing player go "seek and destroy" mode
Don't sit back waiting for blitz to come to you because you just whiff on those blocks most of the time

Kyle was very humble, mature and happy in the post game interview. Gave praise and all the credit to the other 10 players on the field. Clearly on track for over 1000 yards this year.
Also, looking back at film from the 3 games and need to also give credit to Johnny Langan's blocking. He seems to be in the right place at the right time. He is also the on field cheerleader .
Watch him after every single good play congratulating the player. He also seems very close with Gavin.
