I presume that's why we voted against it, along with UNC and Clemson (and NCS until they caved). I'm still hearing 2025 as the exit date. I guess we'll see - lot of FB to be played until that point
agree, anything can change but I think the monies involved are huge. Amazed the state hasn't gotten involved given it's a state entity.

as you pointed out there is no incentive for the remaining or new schools to allow fsu to leave for less than is owed. Those schools know if a 'more reasonable' compromise is reached Clemson and maybe UNC and VA are out the door soon after that precedent is set.

kind of a catch 22 to be honest

need to move towards a future of schools that are aligned while keeping schools looking for ways to get out.

Was wondering if it might not be up there close to or actually an all time high for an after dark PAC game. Impressive when it wasn’t even 2 P5 teams. I do think he has to keep winning for the train to roll at this pace.

Buffs are now the hunted so there’s that “appeal” until the wheels fall off their season.

Watching the game into early AM was kinda flat.
Colorado students shown on TV were yawning during OT lol

Well some of them were up since 430am or something. I thought I saw a tweet from CGD or someone showing lots of students running for positions in the dark lol.

Next week at Oregon
Yea I think Oregon will beat them. I don’t think they need to be undefeated to maintain the hype though. If they can stay ranked or say have a 8-9 win season then I think much of the hype will remain. If it ended up a 6 win or less season then maybe not so much.

Sanders says they need 5-7 more "dawgs" to be really good so he knows there is only so much stardust and lucky charms in Boulder. But that's why he should tone things down a bit and dont make the Buffs the team version of Bosworths where everybody wants to clean their clocks. They aren't ready to start spitting at bikers

That would be something if Oregon/Colorado got close or beat OSU/ND in the ratings. A blowout game vs one that was close throughout. I imagine Oregon/Colorado must've peaked at the start with the lead in and the game not yet out of hand.

Well it looks like the blowout was close to ND/OSU. ESPN/ABC Nielsen numbers include streaming. NBC uses another firm to measure their streaming. Apples to apples ND/OSU is a little bit in front but it's still impressive that a blowout Colorado/Oregon game can basically match 2 high status programs like OSU/ND in a close down to the wire matchup.

From the article:

Saturday’s Colorado-Oregon college football game averaged a 5.2 rating and 10.03 million viewers on ABC, marking the largest Nielsen-measured audience of the season. The Buffaloes’ 36-point loss averaged a higher rating and larger Nielsen-measured audience than Ohio State-Notre Dame on NBC later in the day, which averaged a 5.1 and 9.98 million.

Keep in mind that NBC uses a separate measurement service — Adobe Analytics — to calculate its streaming audience. (For the other networks, including ESPN and ABC, streaming viewership is included in Nielsen’s figures.) Including the Adobe-measured streaming audience of 605,000, the Ohio State-Notre Dame game had a larger audience of 10.58 million.

Wonder what the sources are for these numbers.
This one, who is also reputable, says RU-Michigan beat the Fox Big Noon game of OU-Cincinnati by a significant margin. Maybe one includes streaming and one doesn't.

I've looked at those too in the past and it's too dang hard to read lol which is why I don't anymore. I think it's because it's too hard to read you might have made mistake because the RU/Michigan numbers and the OU/Cincy numbers match the same numbers on the green grid I posted. OU/Cincy was 2.17M and RU/Michigan was 1.94M in both grids.

I think only NBC uses a different service besides Nielsen to measure it's streaming ratings. I think the Nielsen numbers for the other networks include streaming.

Both charts look the same to me. With the same viewer numbers.

Deion train still rolling for the networks.. Not as big as previous weeks but still a big number, especially considering it wasn't a close game til later.

From the article:

USC-Colorado averaged a 4.0 rating and 7.24 million viewers on the latest edition of FOX “Big Noon Saturday,” marking the least-watched Buffaloes game of the season, but the eighth-largest audience overall. Colorado has now played in more than half (five) of the top eight games.

Thats fine. Take what you like and ignore what you don’t care about for whatever info is posted. I find everything on the whole landscape of interest and others may as well.
you misunderstand
I find it all enjoyable and interesting but at the end of the day, it's RU numbers that matter and that is what I want to see the most
