The NYPD is investigating a serious crash that left seven people hurt in Midtown Manhattan. Police say a woman from Somerset County is to blame when she drove through a red light at the intersection of West 36th Street near Sixth Avenue.

The 29-year-old driver’s name was not released, but News 12 New Jersey has learned she is from the Belle Mead section of Montgomery Township. The NYPD says that the crash does not appear to be deliberate or terror-related.

Yesterday I was driving on the Turnpike when in the space of around 10 minutes, at least 15 muscle cars kept passing, at least going 100mph and crossing lanes at will in some kind of race. It was scary, they almost caused an accident. No police around
