On or near campus. Doing the bus tour in the morning and have a break before honors college tour.

Can't go wrong with either of these. And Destination Dogs, mentioned above is great, too. I'll throw in a few more. Namli is the best Turkish in CNJ, Ramen Nagomi is superb, Fritz's is fantastic for a diner-ish experience (but better food), Tavern on George is excellent (the old Tumulty's) and if you want to spend a little money, Salt is our favorite place in NB.

Went to Esquina Latina based on a recommendation from a current student. Food was good. School tour was good. Bus tour was well done but it’s a bus tour. Honors College tour needs practice.

What happened on Honors College tour? 5 years ago, it was superb. Probably been some changes in the leadership of the HC.

I was told the tour is something new. They asked how we found out about it. It felt like it was new because it didn’t have structure.

5 years ago, it was quite structured. A tour of the building, a presentation from the resident "dean" (maybe not a dean, but some senior prof who lived in the building), and several presentations and Q&A sessions. Maybe they feel they don't need to sell anymore and they are resting on their laurels?

The Q&A with the dean was very informative. The tour wasn’t bad but just needed a script so it’s not so off the cuff. Interesting fact I learned is that now applicants will have to check a box to show interest to be considered for HC.
