Why do some people try to bring Trump into almost every conversation? Investigations for the past 6 years have proven nothing. I'm actually looking forward to see the investigations into the "Big guy".
Biden was mentioned first.

I probably wouldn't like either personally but one of those guys loves his country and fights for it. The other is trying to destroy it.
Yeah, the guy who said that he’s running “so America can be great and glorious again” is clearly thinking of nothing but his love of his country. Mr. selfless is what we all call him. His goes by the stage name Al Truism. 🤣

He’s gonna Make America GAG Again. Can’t wait to see the caps. 🤣🤣🤣

Both guys suck, but it’s pure hyperbole to claim either guy is trying to destroy the country. Neither guy is fit to lead anything.

Let’s give someone else a try please. Not that anybody from either side seems particularly good.

I agree … unfortunately the former’s personality is hurting his cause.
Oh sure. Some can overlook his shortcomings others can't. He is very flawed but was also a bit of a game changer as Pres. I think between his personality, uni-party political/legal attacks and the media ripping him for the last 8 years he's almost certainly unelectable now.

If you read James Baker's biography, he was approached by Trump about running his 2020 campaign. His response was he didn't run campaigns any more since he was approaching 90 years old, but he wrote a memo with bullet points. Point 1 was "Stop insulting people". Clearly Trump does not follow independent thought from campaign advisors.

No makeup vs. makeup. How do YOU look without makeup? 🤣 I look terrible without it.

Fun fact from Wikipedia:
Her father, Christian Rasmus Holmes IV, was a vice president at Enron, an energy company that later went bankrupt after an accounting fraud scandal.

Interesting she is being put away, but Bankman Fried--is he going to skate free unscathed?

Give it time. The wheels of justice grind very slow but exceedingly fine.

Theranos was outed as a fraud back in 2016. She wasn't arrested until June 2018, and sentenced January 2023.

He certainly sucks as a person but he actually followed through on selecting solid Supreme Court picks and started the process of fighting for American jobs vs China. That's all I could have hoped for and more than any other Rep has done in forever. He hasn't been bought like Biden and 99% of other politicians.

This 100%. Biden is as crooked as they come. If only the media did real investigative journalism like they are suppose to.

With what might be the biggest military breach in history, Joe Joe doesn't answer a single question about it to the international press and continues to wander the European countryside even stating before the trip he won't be having press conferences. What President does that? He should be rushed back to address the American people. Next time, so as not to further the worldwide embarrassment that he is, the plan should be to put him on Air Force One, circle for a few hours, land in Epcot and tell him he's in Europe. He'll never know the difference.

On Elizabeth Holmes — true story. I worked for covance from 2010-2016. They have a massive central lab business and are one of the leading processors of blood and serum samples in the world.

When the rumors began circulating of what theranos “said” they had (testing of micro samples), I had several execs at covance say, essentially verbatim, “unless they’ve discovered alien technology, that is totally and completely ********”

At the time, I thought, “way to stick your head in the ground and deny technological innovation”, but it turns out they were dead on. And I love that they called it then

If you think the current president is an embarrassment, you should check out the one that preceded him. That mamaluke is still embarrassing the country and ripping off the poorly educated through soliciting donations for defense of the indefensible.
Lock him up.

I was working with a large insurance company - and we wanted to partner with Walgreens and one of the big "telemedicine" firms to expand our walk-in clinic presence in certain underserved neighborhoods.... we had a few meetings and were basically told, "thanks but no thanks, we are way too busy - and can't spare the floor space now that we have this Silicon-valley-super-science (they didn't name at the time) that is gonna make us all billionaires"... So we went to their competitor - and it was way more profitable for us...

Why do you continue to defend Biden by bringing up Trump? It's been 2+ years since The Island of Misfit Toys has had the chance to correct everything, yet defaults to Trump when everything the doofus touches turns to ****..Kind of getting old. Who's President now? I've said multiple times to lock up Trump if there's proof to do so and said he's way to toxic to win in 2024. With that said, I'd counter with the indefensible that is the 2 tier system of law enforcement we have witnessed for the past 6 years. At some point and I only hope I live long enough to see it and the media has the balls to report it, the House of Cards Democrats have built will come crashing down. Of course when the smoke clears, the snowflakes will find a way to blame Trump, lmfao. Should I put you down in the column that thinks it's OK for children to have genitals switched or removed? Maybe you feel even more names on schools should be taken down and statues removed. Can I assume you love the direction this country is headed and the current state of countries teaming up against the USA because they know a brain dead ***** is in charge? Our dollar is crashing worldwide, China, Russia, North Korea and Iran basically spitting at America, yup, Biden is doing a great job, I stand corrected.
I don't know why you hate this country so much.
Also, IMO Joe Biden has done a damn good job as president. Especially when you consider what he inherited from what lots of people are saying was the worst president this country has ever had.
Lock the treasonous Putin-lover up.

Look at the folks on the Theranos board and then tell me what tier of justice will be applied.

Shot in the dark here. Any idea why I can direclty get my apolipoprotein B (apoB) tested in Pennsylvania and every other state except, NY/NJ/RI/CT? Why those 4 states. It's just a sub fraction of LDL cholesterol. In NJ, I need a doctor's script to get it tested, which is ridiculous.

I’m not sure. If I had to guess it would be a function of:
A) standard lipid panel reimbursement, by state (every managed care organization is technically providing reimbursement at the state level). Perhaps in PA apoB is part of the standard lipid panel

B) are you seeing a cardiologist in PA but a family medicine doc in NJ? Sometimes there’s a prior auth required for a test script and it’s got to be a cardiologist or lipidologist who writes it. For example, if I want a VAP test to look at particle size of my LDL I’ve gotta get that script from a cardiologist

Thanks for the answer.
First, not seeing a cardiologist in PA. I'm simply asking if I want to order labs directly from a place such as TrueHealthLabs.com or another one of the places you can go direct, but they specify certain tests (e.g., apoB) cannot be collected in NJ for testing. However, I can take that same form and drive over to PA and get my blood drawn. I'm not breaking any laws. It's the same draw whether it is LDL ( fairly useless metric these days) or apoB. It's what happens to that blood in the test.

I have extremely high cholesterol, but my last CAC (calcium) test and CCTA soft plaque of heart/arteries showed zero calcium and plaque. Some people have low LDL and high apoB. Doctors that are up to date with the latest science (which is now more than 10 or 15 years old) know to order apoB. But you would be amazed at the number of family doctors and cardiologist that a) don't know what apoB is or means; b) never order it for their patients to get a closer look a patient's lipid profile; c) refuse to order it if the patient asks. It is ridiculous. A family member had extremely high apoB after ordering the test and the primary care doctor said nothing about it.

I hate being that patient that has to rely on "Dr. Google", but apoB should be ordered for every patient as part of a lipid panel.

As far as coverage, you are correct. It is not covered. It costs $35. NJ BCBS deems it "experimental" and refuses to pay for it. But they will pay for a lifelong prescription of a statin that a patient may not even need. FFS is our health system broken.

Sorry for the rant. While Twitter is not always a reliable source, Dr. Thomas Dayspring (RU alum!) is one of the foremost lipidologists in the world. Here is a tweet, with a link to a study in The Lancet. Dr. Sniderman from Canada is another proponent of apoB testing, and so are numerous other MDs. Sorry for the long rant. I need to get my blood pressure checked. 😜
