KSU playing at a really high level with Nowell dominating from the PG position. I'm amazed Nowell had no offers coming out of HS, other than AR-Little Rock. Probably could've been ours, since he's from our backyard (although we weren't alone in missing out on him).

That kid is great. 5’8” - height is overrated in college. I’d love to get a kid like this running point for us.

I'm surprised MSU hasn't capitalized more on Nowell being hobbled - they've been doubling him way too much since the injury.

Rutgers in January beats both of these teams. I am fairly certain. Both teams getting looks of of simple dribble penetration and poor defending of screens.

Izzo could learn from Pike here.
I keep thinking about how good we were playing before the Mag injury, when a 4-5 seed was looking possible and knowing we were capable of making a tourney run. Sigh.
