Fonseca on Tourney Wins

If FDU, Princeton and St. Pete's played in the B1G they'd never make the tourny. That said, I'm rooting for our local boys to win more games.

FDU played a team that was 14-20?

[erdelyaj]

Fonseca can’t help himself.

Fonseca hates Rutgers. Ever hear him speak? His IQ is definitely only double digits.

[QD43]

Fonseca is a piece of sh*t.

[bac2therac]

and people wonder why we have journalists

I bet all the usual suspects retweeted and liked

[biazza38]

Fonseca sucks!!! He said we were a mortal lock to make the tournament back in January. I told him he didn’t know what he was talking about and anything could happen with 14 games left.

Cool tweet

Wow we have to be the most sensitive fragile fanbase. It's a somewhat interesting little stat. Let's focus on changing that stat/narrative instead of crying that someone pointed it out.

[RU Husky]

Rutgers has the enormous disadvantage, from a branding perspective, of having to overcome the persistent snarky negativity of guys like Fonseca, Politi and Carino. But then again, they are no different than a very outspoken segment that populate this forum.

I definitely get the vibe Fonseca doesn't care for Rutgers at all.

And Pike clearly doesn't like him either

Hes definitely pessimistic. He makes Richie look like Al LOL

This Princeton team could have won 10 Big Ten games they are a better version of Iowa

[Plum Street]

Fair stat if given within context

Move on

[ScarletDave]

“Remarkable” stat?? A fun stat that is absolutely meaningless given any context whatsoever but congrats

We are a pathetic fan base sometimes… BF is a Rutgers Alum he does not hate Rutgers.

[MiloTalon13]

I like Fonseca. I think he's a Rutgers and a Pikiell fan and hoping that next year is the best year ever for Rutgers hoops.
Carino seems more like a clickbait type of guy, he'll write anything to get attention more than being loyal to anyone - like most of the modern media.

I don’t think he hates Rutgers but he’s probably just slowly morphing into the typical journalist with this clickbait/reaction driven type “reporting”.

We quickly forget the many positive articles he wrote in January when we were winning. Not calling anyone out specifically but don't think its fair to just call him out for doing his job.

Agree he’s put out some good stuff. I really enjoyed his Geo Baker report/video.

He’s much better than Carino or Politi. Those guys put out something good every once in awhile, but otherwise they can be complete dweebs or hacks.

FWIW he went to RU when I was there. Younger than me though.

[Proud NJ Sports Fan]

Wow!

[djrc89]

I have no idea how he feels but who cares? Are we the only state where mid majors win more games total over a random period over p5 schools. ? I doubt it. I just don’t have the time or inclination to deal with it. I remember Wichita state had a pretty good team. Maybe we should break up Kansas
