Wow, that was pretty cool . It’s very sad he was wasted here because of the ineptness that surrounded him. He should have gone down as one of the RU greats.

Great career ?? It was not a great career here and it wasn’t his fault. It was solid . But he never cracked three of the all conference teams . I am not even sure if he ever hit 1k rushing in a season
BTN analyst said incredible. I don't disagree, considering the circumstances. Some RU fans will obviously differ with this assessment.
I think many would differ in the assessment . Good career. But he should have had a better or at least equal rutgers career as ray rice. I really believe he was that good

Luckily he's built like a tank.
Not many sub 4.4 RBs benching 225 27 times (LB/OL/DL range).
First few times I saw him play at RU I thought the player would be great.
Alas RU never had a OL up to B1G level
A Sosa/Zuttah Rice OL would have helped
I don't think IP would have been as good as Rice though
Its easy to forget that for Rice's last two years "stopping Rice" was #1 goal for opposing DCs
Box was always "stacked" as they say.
One RB ran as fast as IP but he only had 100 yds last season (NE Pats - even Belichick missed IP)
Luckily he's built like a tank.

For Pacheco they were stacked 2 yards behind his line of scrimmage. They were different. I'm not sure I've seen anyone who had Rice's initial 5-10 yard burst, but he could get caught. Pacheco gets through the LOS clean (those rare few occasions) and he was gone!
This was glorious.Ray's "burst" was epic but he was also good at running low and hidden behind blockers.
Ozzie Newsome said he drafted Rice because any pile he ran into he came out the other side.
Rice was short but had legs like trees and calves bigger than DL.
Opposing defenders often complained how sore their lower legs were after playing vs Rice.
Rice also had a wicked stiff arm (recall seeing it vs Selvie in 2007) and the same arm was often a "third leg" Rice used to gain extra yards while falling forward.
Only thing Rice really could have improved on was his long speed but at his height he was never going to eat yardage the way (say) Underwood could
