Seems like it’s Akers Hall or nearby? Don’t know . Never been to MSU.
I have the “5-0 Radio” scanner app and just put it on.

Sounds more like a terror attack based on reports

Scanner just said someone called 911 and said explosives placed on campus then disconnected.

Who knows if true or not. This seems like a logistical nightmare for first responders. Their jobs are unbelievably difficult.

Not that it would shock me sadly but where did you hear the above from or are you speculating?
Pure speculation. Sounds like 3 shooters operating along with a coordinated effort by others to send misleading reports to 911.

There are reports - don’t know if true - that shooter name is Lynn Dee Walker. There’s a Facebook like post he apparently posted that many will die at MSU. Have no idea if this Is factual. Saw his picture and he looks like a kook. 21 years old.

Lotta reports that was a fake picture and story that’s been used in other shootings

And now that a couple of dipshits brought politics into this thread already let me ask...

Was MSU campus where the shooting occurred a "Gun Free Zone"?

Per Press Conference:
-
- Shootings occurred at several locations around campus

- Five victims. Some with life threatening injuries. I believe one fatality.

-! One suspect. Still not caught. Was on foot.

- Photo of suspect will be made available soon

Ugh Awful news. RIP.

Didn’t realize that was on the MSU campus

Is it that difficult to stay on topic?

Chaos like this, 911 ALWAYS gets fake reports of “gunfire”, “suspicious subjects”, “explosives”, etc.

Police approached a man matching description of suspect. That man pulled out a gun and shot him self. Police found rounds in his backpack.

Coward

Yep. But at least he saved the taxpayers $100Ks not having to feed, jail and hire lawyers for him.

Coward is right. Evil Coward.

There are lots of developed countries with gun free zones that don’t seem to have the insane amount of mass shootings we have here. Maybe it has something to do with the accessibility of firearms in the USA?

If we had a little looser concealed carry laws, thered be very few mass shootings imo. Insane how strict it is to cc in NJ

OK amend the US Constitution then. Take away fellow citizens God given right to self defense. Good luck. LOL.

I hope you enjoy making it easier for the larger, younger, stronger and eviler of our society to prey on the weaker and smaller. Or can I expect you to provide physical security to all those that need and currently use an effective tool to given themselves a chance to fight the more powerful predators around them? I doubt you'll step up.

And your insane amount of shootings and favorable comparisons to other countries is hyperbole, not fact.

Maybe it has something to do with the folks shooting. Guns never hurt anyone without a person pointing them and pulling the trigger. How about we ban cars and bathrooms? Way more people die from those products then do from guns.
