Not true.Mag was averaging seven points a game on a team struggling to score more than 60 points.

Cliff is still more important. We were still winning today with him on the court and looked like a disaster when he wasn't

Dean and Wolf are just such a massive drop off from Cliff

Maybe coach knows something. But it’s now next man up.

Steve Pikiell on Mawot Mag:
“We’re going to miss Mawot greatly. He’s a high-energy player, a veteran presence, and the ultimate glue-guy. He’s one of our best team defenders and one of our best offensive rebounders. There’s not a better person in our program and we can’t wait to see him back on the floor in front of Rutgers Nation.”

Not sure I’d go so far as to call him MVP, but his absence goes to show just how thin RU’s margin for error is. We’re the ultimate “the whole is greater than the sum of its parts”.

We saw it early this season when Paul and Caleb missed time and we lacked any ability to handle the ball and initiate the offense. We see it time after time when Cliff goes out with foul trouble and we have to dip into our reserve bigs. And now obviously we’re feeling the effects on both ends of the floor not having Mag

And he was a 1 man press
You only have to look at the defensive stats when he was in the game versus when he was out night and day!!!
