That's not true. He's been on it quite a bit the past couple of weeks promoting his diaper/FHP drive.
He's not a prolific Tweeter but he does tweet....well did. Account is gone.
Did he not just have an interview with field of 68 after the Purdue game where he said “that’s why I’m not on social media.”

He could have an account, doesn’t necessarily mean it’s him.

The real question is who the hell is "Final Four or Bust?" He signed up for that account on Dec. 5, 2022 but there's no way he's new to this board.
That’s the great thing about the internet. Every whackadoodle has a voice. If they talked on a street corner you would keep walking and think what a nut. Here they get to engage until they self destruct. Then they brush themselves off of their damaged pride, create a new screen name and start all over.

Lol STFU. I like Paul and I honestly don't mind the kick. He is frustrated. It happens. Indiana took it to us last night.
What? I think you need to take your own advice here. It’s not acceptable. Like someone posted earlier. We wouldn’t want to see it if the role was reverse. Want to take your frustration out? go and body someone for a rebound. Plenty of other ways to take out your frustration

Yes, bush league. His antics and complaining and flopping are overshadowing his good play. Not cool., especially for a leader who’s “diving into his faith”. Do better Paulie
If he did intentionally try and trip him, I'm sure Paul feels terrible today. Think of the last time you didn't live up to your values--there is a "hangover."

No need to impugn Paul's faith--at times, we all fall short of our professed values. The question is do we learn from our lapses or do we justify them and blame others?

Clearly, to reach this level of achievement, Paul is a learner.

Not a great look. But TJD was talking **** and staring us down from the start with his very first dunk and I’m sure was doing it at the end too. Paul finally lost his cool. It’s sports. Pike will have a talk with him and that’s that.
It’s not sports.

That was a dirty play and he needs to be better than that. As far as him being a dirty player, where is the evidence over his 4 year career so far?

I don't think dirty player is accurate, but I do wish he would just focus on the game.

You don't remove the social media account, if it wasn't intentional. There are a couple of other items last year not worth mentioning, because it doesn't help RU or Mulcahy.

It is the type of player he is....he's R guy, so I understand if some fans want to look the other way, but if it wasn't intentional, then you'd have nothing to hide and not freeze your social media account.

Mulcahy needs to focus on working on his handle, taking care of the ball and channel his energy on finding shot attempts for the 32 to 37 minutes a game.

If I was Pike, I'd sit him to start the Illinois game and hold Mulcahy as a captain accountable for not the trip, but a horrific game. Minutes shouldn't be guaranteed IMO.

I don't mind Caleb as the tone setter for tough defense, and some talking back and forth. His defense is what drives RU. Mulcahy on the other hand, I expected more at this stage of his career.

He froze his social accounts because he was getting hounded by Indiana fans

Feeble, shameful trip attempt vs optical illusion of sorts.
If former, he should be disciplined or man up
Bad karma man.

I haven’t watched it yet but I will and if he intentionally tried to trip him I’ll judge him harsher than any Indiana fan ever will.

Ami Finau intentionally broke Noah Vedral’s foot (sentencing him to months of pain and rehabilitation) after a play had been over. All of you out with pitchforks for Mulcahy should never sleep again until Finau is behind bars. Finau wasn’t even kicked off his team or out of school. Where’s the Twitter outrage? Juwon Howard assaulted someone, leading the kids that follow him to a throw punches. He wasn’t banned from the sport or charged with anything.

The Big Ten condones physical violence. It’s that simple. It will continue. It will get worse.

So Indiana fans troll his account, what does he expect is going to happen, you want the IU fans to ignore it??

I don't expect any of our players to be active on social media anyway, but your actions are held to a different standard than a normal person.

Name another Paul “dirty” play as you seem to be indicating a pattern.
FWIW (probably next to nothing to an RU fan and I get that…), I’ve REALLY liked Rutgers basketball for years but really disliked this player at the same time … and the trigger was he COMPLETELY flopped to make it look like an elbow on Da’Monte Williams and cost us a technical when we played you guys two years ago (replay made it super clear). He is just simply a lot less likable than all the other players you’ve had.

No? You said you don’t freeze your social media accounts if it wasn’t intentional. I’m saying whether or not it was intentional has nothing to do with why he froze his accounts, he did it because he was being harassed.

You can't actually be serious, can you? Trying to trip someone is indefensible and he needs to apologize for it. Hard-nosed is great, but dirty is unacceptable. Some of his previous "hard-nosed" plays have been borderline, but this is way over the border. Also needs to stop whining and flopping and focus on playing like he did in the 2nd half of the MSU game.

No way would Pike sit him for his game play.

Could he sit him to start to send a message regarding this trip? I wouldn't be against it if Pike thinks that was Paul's intent, but I really doubt it happens.

To me, flopping isn't "dirty" per se, it's just kind of improper, whereas trying to trip someone is "dirty" to me, as it could hurt another player (nobody is getting hurt by flopping).

You guys are a trip. If you was watching the game, Paul was definitely frustrated with the constant reach ins and no fouls called. You guys are comparing him to Grayson Allen? Really? Get a grip. Indiana was playing dirty all game if you was really watching the game. What you should be talking about which was the turning point of the game is when McConnell stole the ball and they did not call a breakaway foul which would have been 2 shots and the ball down 5.

I expect to see apologies from Paul and Pikiell sometime today and I expect Pike to not start Paul on Saturday to send a message that that kind of behavior is unacceptable.

We muck it up with reach ins and in-your-face bully defense as much as anyone else. It’s our identity. Paul seems to let his emotions get the best of him far too often and it pulls him out of focusing on his game.

There’s a reason coaches always talk about focusing only on what you can control. Gotta put the blinders on to everything else. Paul is not great at doing this.

Oh no it’s on the echo chamber of reddit. That place is a toxic piss hole
100% agree but it gets me out of our own echo chamber for perspective. To me it looked accidental but to the majority on Reddit it was flagrant. For all I know it could have been mostly Indiana fans. Regardless it wasn’t called by the refs and one of our own is calling our PM.

Cam Spenser has no social media accounts.
Paul had Twitter & posted videos of himself asking people to donate to the diaper drive and videos thanking people for what had been donated so far. He's also posted multiple videos of himself asking people to support his charity https://grateful4foundation.wordpress.com/

you think Paul had someone running his Twitter account like he's JLo or something?

So now we're using social media behavior as clear evidence of intent and admission of guilt? Come on man, he was being harassed. I can't stand their fans on Twitter...can't imagine actually being a target of all the trolls. The trash our own fanbase has talked about him on this very board over the past couple of years is bad enough. I don't blame him for logging off.

For the record I think it was intentional and Paul should come off the bench next game, then we all move on.
