On the floor...by far. Cliff is nowhere near him.
Cliff has many limitations...many.
he is a great player. he is made fun of here and the whole Indiana team is made fun of here but they are good and well situated for a sweet 16 run
7 of 8 and starting to roll. Not many will be able to stop Trace and their defense is getting goodTJD is great but that's not a sweet 16 team.
Cliff will hopefully be embarrassed by that and come out on fire next gameTrace had 18 rebounds, Cliff had 4
TJD had 20 points andCliff had 15 points. TJD scored once on Wolf and once on Dean after he missed his first shot. TJD had about 4-5 takes on Cliff and looked quick and explosive. But they didn’t score from the field for like 9 minutes in the second half and TJD did nothing against Cliff during that stretch. If Paul hits the 2 front end of one and ones and Caleb shoots 4-12 instead of 1-12 ( a lot of open shots ) we win. Then are you saying TJD dominated but they lost or that he was controlled for most of the second half and that’s why we won.Trace dominated Cliff on the boards. As much as I've said he's soft, he outplayed our guy tonight, and basically got whatever he wanted in the post
Win or lose TJD had a dominate game 20/18/6TJD had 20 points andCliff had 15 points. TJD scored once on Wolf and once on Dean after he missed his first shot. Cannot argue about the 18 rebounds but I would have lived with him getting 20 points and if you told me he scored 20 before the game , I would have thought we won. His hitting Miller Kopp because Paul fell asleep were most of his assists. That was impressive how he passed out. He clearly outplayed Cliff tonight but we had plenty of chances to win the game and if our 2 senior guards score more than 2 points each , we do win despite his performance.Win or lose TJD had a dominate game 20/18/6
The truth hurtsYou could have made the thread without putting Cliff down.
Or you could have just not made a thread.
Trace had 18 rebounds, Cliff had 4
I agree 100%…at least tonight he was. Some of the shots he made in the paint were unbelievable. On the floor...by far. Cliff is nowhere near him.
They looked like a completely different team from the one that played at the RAC that looked soft. Trace played aggressively and determined last night unlike at the RAC. Also Race Thompson didn't play at the RAC and they missed his presence underneath the basket. Their defense was very good last night and they rebounded well.7 of 8 and starting to roll. Not many will be able to stop Trace and their defense is getting good
What game were you watching? Cliff didn't get his 4th foul until 5 minutes left in the game and he was never taken out of the game for foul concerns. He played 32 minutes which is about average.Rebounding woes are heavily correlated to foul trouble. Cliff, Caleb and Paul all in foul trouble most of the game. Caleb slightly less foul trouble - so he had 8 boards and the other guys 4/5.
I think it more impacted TJD. Mag is an excellent trapper and has the length and athleticism to fly around scrambling to recover when the ball moves out of a trapDid Mag’s absence have anything to do with Cliff’s underwhelming performance?
