Looking at 6th loss in 8 games.
UConn has now lost 6 of their last 8, including a home loss to St. Johns and at SHU It is mind boggling that they are still ranked.Down to #13 Xavier 39-24

Lost 6 of last 8.
Should have been out after losing 5 of last 7. How was a team that lost 5 of 7 ranked 19th? LolOut of top 25.
They were really good up until about 6 weeks ago. Beat Alabama.Should have been out after losing 5 of last 7. How was a team that lost 5 of 7 ranked 19th? Lol
They sure seem to be trying their best to. Would love to see it, lolCan a team with that record play themselves out of the NCAAs?
They got up as high as 2 or 3?Should have been out after losing 5 of last 7. How was a team that lost 5 of 7 ranked 19th? Lol
I don't know how you go from beating Alabama to losing 6 of last 8 in the Big East....Alabama is really good , probably a Final Four team .They were really good up until about 6 weeks ago. Beat Alabama.
At what point do you say bad "luck" is something else?
Alabama wasn't as good back then.I don't know how you go from beating Alabama to losing 6 of last 8 in the Big East....Alabama is really good , probably a Final Four team .
It's technically possible but extremely unlikely. They are still waaaay above the bubble. Remember that selection is not supposed to consider the order of the gamesIn Portland end of November these wins:
Oregon 83-59
Alabama 82-67
Iowa State 71-53
Then came home and beat Oklahoma State 74-64
Big wins and look at the margin of victory.
Can a team with that record play themselves out of the NCAAs?
Now in sixth place in an 11 team conference.
And the Big East last three are Georgetown, Butler, and DePaul.
I think Minnesota, last place in the Big Ten, would be favored over all 3 of those.
14-0 start. Many of those early games were 30+ polnt wins.
Does the UConn swoon hurt the NET of the Big XII teams as Iowa State and Ok State on the above list?
Metrics failureThey only dropped 1 spot, standing 7th in the Net as of this morning.
It's like the reverse Rutgers 2021-22. Only then despite all the Top 25 wins, it was the WTF losses in November that kept RU down. With UConn it's the November wins that keeps them up.Metrics failure
