Damn...wish Pikell could recruit!!
I thought Bailey is a 5 star. Why does the RU tweet say Griffiths is the first?

Wow that detailed highlight reel in the article is amazing. He's bombing curry distance 3s with ease. Unlimited range. His passing is very good too. Attacks defenders if they close out too hard which they have to do to prevent the 3. He will open up the offense soooo much
I donāt know. I still kind of enjoy sticking it up the schmetzer of the toolbags who own it.
Note: I don't follow recruiting and base this opinion purely on expectations from the board, his rise in Rivals rankings and experience of following NBA draft trends. I haven't seen Gavin take a single shot ever.
I've thought this for awhile but GG could end up being a more important recruit than Dylan or Ace. Those 2 are coming in as elite NBA prospects and already likely one and done. They could sit out the year and it would likely have minimal impact on draft status.
However, GG isn't really on any draft boards (yet). If he comes in and plays as well as many expect (Big Ten freshman of the year, shooting lights out from 3) then he could play himself into being our first one and done.
That would be a real feather in HC Pike's cap - "Rutgers is an environment that let's you get exposure to play your way into the NBA or the 1st round as an underclassmen - even if you aren't a near guarantee already coming in."

Nobody else makes this comparison, maybe it's a little weird, but he has that Jordan Bohannon gravity where a defender has to pick him up almost at halfcourt and can't leave him. Two guys get pulled to him a lot, sometimes even on off-ball screens. He moves without the ball a lot and cuts/spins hard. The other team has to defend more sq feet of the court with him out there. Opens up lanes in the halfcourt and in transition. I get that he's a lot taller and totally different in other ways, but that gravity aspect, having to defend him all over the floor is Bohannon-like, he also has some of that Bohannon swagger.Wow that detailed highlight reel in the article is amazing.
