They ran him inside and outside but when your OL is really bad no RB will do much. It’s about the players not the coaches. If only Rutgers ran Pacheco up the middle more instead of trying to run Wide Zone most of the time.

Hard to win when you don’t make those plays.Kirk has to catch that ball.
Neither did this play. But him running downhill gave him a shot to bounce outside. There weren't any openings there as well.
Agreed, it definitely looked like roughing the passer live but not so much when you look at the replaysAnyone else think the roughing the passer call on Jacksonville was questionable? #49 appears to hit him in the shoulder area with no wrap at all. Official thinks it's a neck or head hit but it did not look like that on the replay. The announcers did not question it at all.
Pacheco is playing well. Not sure what the Chiefs do with Mahomes. I would assume his ankle is not going to get any better standing on the side line.
If only they tried to run Pacheco while actually blocking for him.If only Rutgers ran Pacheco up the middle more instead of trying to run Wide Zone most of the time.
No, only our coaches couldn't figure how to get him the ball in space. Screens, short passed, etc. Totally uncreative. They ran him inside and outside but when your OL is really bad no RB will do much. It’s about the players not the coaches.
Yeah one of them for 1 yard after Ip took em 75 yards up the field. Must be in his contract to get the score. In other news, Kelce has 10 receptions and 2 TDs in the 1st half.![]()
Stop the OL did not allow for much to be done. It was a really bad OL who most had no other options but Rutgers. It has been a detriment to any success for a very long time. No, only our coaches couldn't figure how to get him the ball in space. Screens, short passed, etc. Totally uncreative.
This. How that's not Pop's TD is beyond me.Yeah one of them for 1 yard after Ip took em 75 yards up the field. Must be in his contract to get the score.
Yeah he's super. But that should have been pops playoff TD.
You stop. Any big time highly paid college coach finds ways to overcome some of this.Stop the OL did not allow for much to be done. It was a really bad OL who most had no other options but Rutgers. It has been a detriment to any success for a very long time.
He made an awesome pickup last game on a guy beating the right tackle. At some point KC is going to have to have trust Pop's pass protection.
OMG.. and There you go!!!!He made an awesome pickup last game on a guy beating the right tackle.
What they need to do is throw him the damn ball now and again. If for nothing else but to keep the d honest and stop cheating back on him.
Again. Imo another by product of Rutgers hardly doing so.

The flare passes to running backs usually wound up hitting the Powerade buckets on the sidelines. You stop. Any big time highly paid college coach finds ways to overcome some of this.
You go and tell me how many screens, flairs to running backs, quick passes to tight ends, and crossing patterns we threw.
Don't worry. I'm not expecting anything..
