B1G Tournament Ticket Books

Are these worth getting? I'm planning to go to Chicago for the weekend assuming Rutgers gets the double bye or in the evening session on Thursday. Wanted to figure out the best way to get tickets.

Rutgers has really ruined the B1G tournament experience for me. The tournament used to mean something to me, but now all I care about is the NCAAs.

A lot of people disagree with my analysis and potentially overrating the benefit of being fresh. If we are firmly in the field it will be very weird (for me) watching the games. In my heart with every win there would be a slight decrease in the chances of advancing in the tournament that is most important to me.

I live for the B1G tournament. There is nothing like it in any sport, where all the fans and all the teams that you’ve watched on TV all year all come together in 1 place and take over. It’s like a bowl game on steroids. And all the BTN TV guys, media guys around town, it’s like going to Disney World.

I know what you mean about wanting to go far in the NCAAs, but to me the NCAA tournament is the prize, not the fun. Each and every game all year I enjoy on its own- if you spend all season worrying about the NCAA tournament, and only allow yourself to enjoy it once we get there, you are good for maybe 1 or 2 games and then it ends in sadness. Better to enjoy it leading up to there, then once you’re in it’s house money. That’s how I approach it

I respect this, but it is not my experience. I want a NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. Playing Caleb 3 straight nights 36,37 and 38 minutes a weekend before hurts me.

Thing is every player/team has to deal with this….

Most teams don’t defend high screens or get in passing lanes like we do.

All teams but 3 don’t play D like we do. D obviously takes energy.
