I don’t understand the meltdown. Hitting 2 3s vs 12 is going to loose you any game. Every team has off nights. It just happens. It might not be anyone’s fault.

We gave our usual 110%.

Hopefully we continue to regroup quickly and come back with a win.

We will lose again too.

We are not going to win the majority of games we shoot in the 30’s percentage wise
We can win the occasional game like that if our defense keeps it close
This game, our three point shots were worse than normal, in addition to the rest of our attempts not consistent enough

You can rationalize that if cam hit 3 three pointers during the first 30 minutes of play the game would have been a possible win

Mostly true but Purdue had an easy one today. Minnesota only 39 points oof. They still shot better than us from 3 though
Think they said on BTN that Minnesota committed 17 turnovers and made 16 goals. We didn't help ourselves by passing the ball directly into the defender's hands, at least a couple of times tonight. Conceivably, you can count some of our wacky shot attempts as turnovers. It's a huge difference-maker to hand over the ball so easily when the other team is shooting well, and we are not. For Rutgers, from here on out, every game will be a dogfight. I think it's typical B10 play for a team like us to beat the #1 team one night and then, get schooled by an unranked team. The talent pool in the B10 is such, that every mistake gets maximized toward the final outcome of the game. Right now, I think the goal should be to minimize the sloppiness. Those are the periods in each game that hurt us.
