Rough night for me

First, I get the news of David Crosby's death.
Then I start watching Michigan State making all of those threes , giving me a bad feeling about the game, as RU wasn't making any of them.
Then my wife yells to me from upstairs that there's something going on out front...lots of emergency vehicles and fire trucks.....our street closed. A house up the street was on fire with as many flames and as many fire trucks as I've ever seen. i had to go check it out a number of times and every time I came back to the game it looked worse and worse for RU. The game ended tragically long before they were done with the fire. Looks like a total loss...for RU and for whoever owned that house. I know nothing about its owner or its occupants.
All in all not one of my favorite nights.

Met Crosby Stills and Nash about 20 years ago. The gist was that if Neil Young would tour with them they'd do 10,000 seat shows, chartered jets, and stay in 5 star hotels. Otherwise, 1,000 seat clubs and state fairs, tour buses and sleeping on the bus. More recently I'd heard that Crosby made remarks about Daryl Hannah who is Neil Young's girlfriend and that got Stills and Nash mad at him because it jeopardized future paydays. Peace loving hippies but not really that peaceful and very dollar oriented. That's the business part of show business. RIP and sorry for your neighbor.

My friend lost his first born child and immediately I thought about how we are giving up one of our precious home games to play at MSG

A couple of my other neighbors claimed that the house was a place everybody went to buy their drugs. Both claimed to have made purchases there.
They said that just one woman lived in the house and she was not home at the time of the fire.

A lot of this grew into a big business that many of these guys weren’t ready or equipped to handle.
