ON3 NIL Value

Just noticed that as part of the 2024 NIL rankins on ON3, they also include 'NIL' value: https://www.on3.com/db/rankings/consensus-player/basketball/2024/. I am shocked at how high these are, but equally surprised at the drop off. Perhaps I shouldn't be...

Holy ****. We have R's for 3 of the top 8 kids in the country. I must be dreaming.

I actually thought those numbers were low. 250K for a top player shouldn't be that hard to raise.

Interesting. I wonder how accurate those numbers are. It doesn’t make sense to me that top 30 kids would be so lowly valued when plenty of named schools with deep pockets are fighting hard for those kids. That will inevitably lead to a bidding war.

Their prediction machine has Georgetown ahead of Dook for Dylan. They need to fix that algorithm

This helps explain some of the factors they use in calculating their NIL values... Not sure how accurate the values really are.
