With this Wisconsin loss and Michigan State facing Purdue tomorrow, we have a huge opportunity this week to get some separation from most of the pack for 2nd place. Get a win tomorrow and at MSU (easier said than done), and we are in good position for a top four finish.

Wisconsin is overrated. I've been saying it for weeks.

Already three top 25 losses today and it’s only 3 pm

Plus providence and Kansas state down by double digits at half

Over under on Nunber of ranked teams losing today is 8.5

Well, Kansas State was facing a ranked team so that one is a guaranteed top 25 loss. Same with Iowa State at Kansas. Providence lost, so we are at six ranked losses. Arkansas is about to become the 7th, and the Iowa St - Kansas loser will be 8.

G-R, I’ve not been to DePaul’s new arena in the south Loop yet, but it’s much closer to their Lincoln Park campus than Rosemont Horizon/Allstate arena. 8 miles at 15-25 minute drive vs 15 miles at 30-75 minute drive, when bad traffic, due to heading towards O’Hare. At times was brutal on weeknights. The last 20 years in Rosemont for DePaul was like playing in a morgue. Before MJ came to town, DePaul basketball was much bigger than the Bulls in the late-70’s and early-80’s.

Good luck tomorrow.

Was watching a bit of the Wisconsin/Indiana game early in the 2nd half while at the gym: something that jumped out at me was that Wisconsin would pop off a 3 and not crash the boards. Instead they'd be running down to set up for defense.

#15 Arkansas, # 16 Miami, #18 Wisconsin, and #19 Providence all lost to unranked teams. #11 Kansas State lost to #17 TCU. Big opportunity for us with a win tomorrow to crack the Top 25. Then away at Michigan State and home against TTFP this week.

LSU getting demolished by Alabama. 59-22 at the half. Bama is 14-33 from three and one of their players has 22 points.

Yes, remember those great DePaul teams under Ray Meyer. Some awesome players like Gary Garland, Terry Cummings, Dave Corzine and Mark Aguirre.

Got to be one of Leonard Hamilton's worst teams at Florida State. 5-12 and getting worked at home by UVa

Without Wahl they are dead on arrival

Agreed. He is their do-everything guy and they have been reeling without him. Out with an ankle injury. I thought he’d be back by now. Must have been a high-ankle sprain.

But Scheyer is such a great coach! K hand picked him!!
It's impossible for Coach K to be unbiased in his evaluation of Scheyer

Also, assistant coach at Duke under Coach K has to have been the easiest assistant job to look good in ever

That is a huge win for Clemson's at large chances, BTW. As stated earlier in the week, they only play the top four ACC teams once each so they have limited chances to earn resume enhancing wins.
