OP doesn't exactly come across as over the top or harping but that's just my take.
Wasn’t trying to single out OP, but I’ve seen countless posts on this topic and it doesn’t really add any insight or serve any purpose. I get it, we got shafted but why dwell on it when we have so much to look forward to?

“It will only hurt if we end up tied for 1st at the end of the season, so let's just win them all and remove all doubt.”

I would like to add losing a bye for the conference tourney or we are one the last four in for the Big Dance and play the Wednesday game are other potential negative outcomes of that referee error induced loss.

It’s not harping by the OP. As others have said hopefully, there is no impact.

Well you don’t know that do you ? If we miss out on the title by 1 game , then it matters. It mattered that night , it matters right now and it might truly matter at the end of the season. This team is going to the NCAA’s again and likely will be at least a 6 seed. But to come in as “The BIG 10 Champs”, has a great ring to it and one we have not heard yet. Still possible but 3-0 makes it easier. It matters !!!!!!!!!!

Odds are that swiped game will be a relevant issue for us all season long. A win like yesterday lessens the likelihood of it impacting an NCAA berth, but it could certainly still impact us getting a double-bye in the B1G tourney, or a better seed/matchup in the big tourney.

Im not saying it doesn’t matter. I am saying that continued harping about it won’t serve any purpose

Completely correct here; but remember, we lost a terrible game to Seton Hall right after; we should have NEVER have lost that game. The point to me is, we got screwed, it could come back to haunt us, but we should have taken our frustrations out on the Hall. That was a double whammy loss there.

I was bitching as loud as anyone after the crime in Columbus.
Even called for a Wikipedia entry to correct the record.

However after cooler head prevail it’s clear to me that:
A) it costs us the hall game as well
B) you cannot tell what tough games we will win (or won…ahem Purdue) had we not had the extra chip on our shoulder. Not saying we don’t beat Purdue but we might not have…won that one point game.

I’m subscribing to the butterfly effect on this one.

At the end of the day this team is bonkers.
And yes that was a damn crime.

What doesn't kill you makes you stronger. Losing those games lit a fire.

5-0 since. Keep rolling.

Why keep harping on the OSU game? What purpose does it serve?
Well, what we say probably doesn't matter much, but it was good to hear the guys on the Sirius show that someone posted 2 days ago all agreeing we really won that game against OSU. I still think we get a minor bump in seeding based on that, as it seems everyone basically knows we got hosed.

I agree. It’s newsworthy and discussion worthy to talk about what the national media is saying about it since that actually might influence something. My comment was that as fans I think we need to stop obsessing.
