WONDERFUL NEWS!!!

Was watching the ND-Miami game earlier and saw their '23, 5-star recruit who enrolled early(a few days ago) and played in today's game. She will be a difference-maker for them come tourney time.

Hopefully, Jillian can be a difference-maker for us as well. Even if it is just in the sense of helping the overall unit take steps forward and feel less fatigued down the stretch of games.

Looks like Nikki McCray-Penson was the one that recruited her. Coach MCP, or, Coach Nikki from now on. If you have a better one do tell.

Hopefully, Jilly can go tomorrow. They really need the help. Maybe she can eventually be a glue type player for us since she is so versatile.

But if she plays at all this season, that would be one of her four seasons of eligibility, right? But even if she doesn't play, just her being at RU, practicing with the team, and being at the games will help her get ready to be a key player for next season.

Yes, the scenario you describe would be ideal. We have seen it work out at other schools, similar to when transfers had to sit out but could spend time learning the system.

Big decision for her and coach to make.

May take a few practices to more easily be able to decide. If she can hold her own in practice, and she wants to play this year, ....it would be a "go" for me if I was coach. The video I've seen leads me to believe she can handle it. She may struggle defensively, but so are our current players, from top to bottom.

What better way to develop her game than to compete against C. Clark, J. Sheldon, t. Mikesell, D. Miller, G. Berger, and the like?

If she can help this team this year to be able to get back to playing respectable ball, consistently, she needs to be out there. Respectable play is what's going to get her and her teammates some recruits(HS or portal transfers) to consider coming to play with them over the next few years.

Happy New Year to you and yours! Are you watching the game today? Does Rocky Hill Inn carry the games?
No idea on RHI. That's a bit away for me especially when I can drink all my remaining holiday champagne at home and watch.
Full disclosure though I'm a big bowl fan especially when 3 B1G teams are playing..well two if you count what Purdue is do doing today..yikes.

Saw her at the game today. Is there a limit to the number of games she can play this year yet retain 4 years of eligibility?
