Attractive gal back in the day
Did some good work prior to The Stew
I think Oprah took away some of her turf
The Christmas/ New Year's period is a known valley of death of sorts

Did not realize she was still an executive producer of The View until her death. What an awful show.
not really...she has not been seen in years not sure where you got that from...i see they tried putting that blurb in, its been a long time even since she has been on air doing anything..at least 5-6 years

anyhow she was a trailblazer and an icon in broadcasting and interview, she was the first and no one has close to her since

From the linked article from ABC news linked by @MrsScrew . Sorry, Zerohedge, Alex Jones and Faux News were not running that in their story.

"She made her final appearance as a co-host of "The View" in 2014, but remained an executive producer of the show and continued to do some interviews and specials for ABC News."

dude there are articles everywhere, she hasnt been seen since 2016 in public...take the L here
Still does not change the fact that she was "an executive producer." You don't understand how the business and media world works, do you? Whether she was actively producing is not the question. ABC recognized her as an executive producer. It's not a title where they kick you to the curb when you are not well.

Whether you liked Barbara Walters or not, she was an icon that brought women into the forefront of broadcast news and opened up that media for women, giving them a place in the male dominated anchor positions..
As for if you like a certain show she was involved with, BW deserves respect for the way she helped make it a long lasting successful one.
RIP Barbara Walters, you were a trailblazer.

Can't say I enjoy your "view"😝
But you probably got a "Whoopi" posting it 😁
seems like you might enjoy a drink with her toasting Barbara and your view

Harry Reasoner hated Barbara. Barbara left a huge legacy of women in journalism & TV media. The View started off OK but has turned into a cesspool.
