Basketball GAMEDAY THREAD:: Rutgers Hoops vs. Coppin State

[G- RUnit]

Cliff poor foul shooting today.

[ClassOf02v.2]

Sloppy to start this half.

[bac2therac]

Rutgers missing a ton of shots

[mildone_rivals]

If I’m Pike, I call a TO to scream at my team for their **** play since the start of the second half. This right here is how we set ourselves up to get crushed on Monday.

[G- RUnit]

Sloppy. Sleep walking to start half.

[fluoxetine]

First four minutes kinda weak.

[bac2therac]

9-3 run...only 1 fg vs a **** defense

Not rocket science

[newell138]

Watching the BIG halftime show. The question was posed, what does Rutgers need to do in 2nd half. Response: “ first four minutes are critical.” What kind of bill **** response is that??

Maybe they were into something?

[bac2therac]

If I’m Pike, I call a TO to scream at my team for their **** play since the start of the second half. This tight here is how we set ourselves up to get crushed on Monday.

I know its very difficult to keep the intensity level up for 40 minutes but no excuse coming out the lockeroom at half

[mildone_rivals]

Maybe they were into something?

^ He’s right, you know.

[mildone_rivals]

I know its very difficult to keep the intensity level up for 40 minutes but no excuse coming out the lockeroom at half

I’d sub out most of the starters and stick the backups in. They’ll play hard just to stay on the court. And the starters will get the message.

[bac2therac]

U beat a bad defense by being aggressive

[Mr. Magoo1]

The stats in this game are meaningless. Coppin doesn’t rebound, doesn’t box out much, and doesn’t have any discipline on O, tossing up a lot of crap shots. They don’t help well on D, either.

Purdue will be a hard slap in the face compared to this game. I really hate having this be the game before that one.

Intra-squad scrimmage would probably be more beneficial

[RedTeamUpstream94]

The color commentator is kind of a wreck

[Luvscarletknights]

I love when referees seem to feel sorry for the team getting beat.

Those 3 fouls were weak. Good 4-0 run.

[mildone_rivals]

We’re playing like crap right now. So I’m gonna break out my lucky pint of Ben & Jerry’s, which always helps in these situations.

I just ate 15 pancakes and most of a package of bacon. So I’m not at all hungry. But I’m gonna take one for the team and kill off the whole pint, as always.

[G- RUnit]

First bad win this year. Except for Spencer and a little Cliff playing very poorly.

[RutgHoops]

The color commentator is kind of a wreck

I think it is Jerry Dunn. He is awful. Worst commentator I’ve heard on B1G network.

[RutgersClassof2004]

Who the hell transfers from Penn State to Coppin State?

[ClassOf02v.2]

Ole defense, what is that?

[G- RUnit]

Okay Woolfolk playing well too.

[Mr. Magoo1]

Rutgis..lol

[bac2therac]

Wolf wow

[mdk02]

Sessoms is a quality player. Can't say that about the rest of their roster.

[G- RUnit]

Hyatt giving us way more than Mag. Something to think about.

[mildone_rivals]

The Ben & Jerry’s working on Wolf.

[RutHut_rivals]

Dunk you very much to Coppin State.

[bac2therac]

The color commentator is kind of a wreck

Who are the guys doing the broadcast

[mikebal9]

I think about five games ago, someone asked if Wolf can dunk. Yes, it appears he can.

[ClassOf02v.2]

Who are the guys doing the broadcast

Randazzo and Jerry Dunn — Dunn is really bad.

[bac2therac]

Hyatt giving us way more than Mag. Something to think about.

Dont read too much into it

Coppin isnt what we will face in Big 10

Mags D already proven

[fluoxetine]

Hyatt giving us way more than Mag. Something to think about.

Hyatt has always given more on offense. Mag is about the defense.

[HatterChat]

Who are the guys doing the broadcast

Randazzo met play by play guy

[bac2therac]

Is it the same Dunn who is ex Penn state coach

[bac2therac]

4 bunnies missed oh my

[RedTeamUpstream94]

I think it is Jerry Dunn. He is awful. Worst commentator I’ve heard on B1G network.

Just terrible. Adds nothing. Knows nothing. Just platitudes and cliches. And a lot of them ill timed

[G- RUnit]

Mags misses another bunny. So frustrating

[ClassOf02v.2]

Really need to finish better around the rim.

[mildone_rivals]

Maybe I should change to a different flavor?

[BIGRUBIGDBIGredmachine]

Terrible finishing at rim all year and has cost us 2 or 3 games against real competition.
