My stat of the day, 0 Offensive Fouls (charges) today.

First half Hyatt penetrated, stopped and kicked it out.

Mag as said above didn’t over penetrate, even in fast break he avoided charge by getting a better angle causing defender to move and get called for a foul.

Recent game I counted 6 charges on us. Progress.

Cam had one in the first half on a questionable call but point holds.

He clearly is someone who learns and improves...he went much slower today which is clearly a focus point.

Honestly I never understood those who doubted Mag. The defensive upside was always clear as day, and he showed flashes offensively

Perfect Pike recruit

Mag had that terrible break against Indiana when he ran the guy over when he could have easily dished to Cliff for a jam.

Since then he has been completely under control on the break making the right reads. With his size and athleticism he just needs to stay under control. He really can't be stopped

The Hyatt 4 on 1 spot up 3 after missing a few 3's on the other hand hurt my soul

Minutes should equate to production.

4 games last year since Purdue where Mag played at least 20 minutes, 3 of the 4 were double figures scoring.

All of the games this year, he has been at or above 20 minutes per game. The game should be slowing down for Mag, he doesn't look as rushed or "in a hurry ".

It's 83 points in 11 games for Mag. He's not taking a ton of shots, so he's efficient enough right now, where he's going to score whenever the offense finds him.

If you pencil in 8 points per game in the remaining games of the year, that's probably something we can live with. An idea situation is getting Mag up to 10 to 11 PPG, which is something we can expect to see.

The corner set 3s and his footwork is getting better. The handle isn't ideal, but he's within the framework of the team concepts.

Malcolm Gladwell said, in "Outliers", that it "takes 10,000 hours of intensive practice to achieve mastery of complex skills and materials".

Who are we to argue? 😃
His books are excellent. Outliers is my favorite. It's a bunch of short story examples so it's an easy book to read a little at a time. Highly recommend reading it for those who haven't

He has great hands. Took the ball away down low against their speedy guards. Walls up against big players down low. Really, really good defensive player.

Shout out to Caleb holding Appleby to 0 pts in the 2nd half. Kid just put up 33 & Wisconsin. We just expect it from him but he’s a gem.

Such an awful play. I get it. He hits it. Roof comes off. But 4 on 1!!!!!
If he had just made a couple I get it. You're in the zone and maybe you get the offense board. He had just missed badly on a few though.

Hyatt's shot is sooooo flat when he's off. The ball barely gets over the rim at its apex. The line drive off the backboard 3 was something I see in crappy pickup games

His midrange jumper is excellent and he has very good moves on the inside

Mag was a +30 today. He played under control offensively today and is always a force defensively.

I cringe when I think of the post several weeks ago of someone big time dissing Mag
