Do you have a "most want to beat" basketball team in the B1G? Tough one, I know.

Indiana (just for their arrogance and clown pants)
Michigan (mostly for JH and our history against them)
Iowa (for McCaffrey)

Unlike with FB the MBB doesn’t have to prove itself in the B1G anymore. There aren’t any teams that RU needs to beat.

I most want to beat the first place team in the league whichever team that is.

Sure beating seton hall is cool (certainly more so than any other non-BIG team) but with each passing year it gets less important

And, really, since they are non-conference the only real significance is how it affects our NET, etc. they are actually no more or less important than any other non-conf team

I want to beat anyone they put in front of us in the NCAA tournament....and again....and again....and again....and again....and again.

It's hard to pick Indiana as a "want" to beat since we always beat them. They are the most fun to beat though. Especially since they still somehow seem to expect to win and are still arrogant

Michigan and coach slappy I really want to beat now

Beating Iowa is awesome to watch Fran freak out

The options are endless though. Beating Purdue this year would be the most impactful as a resume builder due to their ranking

I'll give top 3
1. Indiana - never gets old. Has been getting funnier each time.
2. Michigan - fan arrogance (albeit a chill arrogance) + now under Juwan they've taken on a weird unnecessary hair-trigger mentality, cheap shots, near brawls, brawls + very poor historical record against them
3. Michigan State - the standard in this league, any time you beat them in a good year or stomp them in an off year... đź‘€
