I waited awhile before posting - but the tone of the voices pisses me off. Clearly want Miami - espn
The tone of the one guy one puts me to sleep. I have no problem with what they're talking about.

The play by play was pretty monotone .

I think both of them said they live in jersey.

Crispin is good

Were the Refs from the Big Ten last night?
Someone can correct me if I'm wrong but basketball isn't like football in that refs are "from" a certain conference. Basketball refs work games across many different conferences, I think.

I think you're right, because my man Ted Valentine was like a bad penny always turning up somewhere.

They really didn't say much that was not true. Rutgers WAS irrelevant forever, so pointing that out to show what kind of job Pike has done was ok. Go back a few years and watch some of the Northwestern games. They too were irrelevant forever until they made their run to the NCAAs. Unlike them though, RU has been back.

Bad lineup? Yeah.... it was, and there are many posts on these boards blaming Pike for his substitution last night. Unfortunately until PM is back, they will have some bad lineups out there. I dont think Pike can do the line changes with Reiber, Miller, Simpson, and Wolfolk on the floor at the same time.

Mispronouncing Cliffs name about 20 times? Unacceptable for a professional... but perfectly acceptable for a fan like myself :)

Sneakers in 6th grade... maybe a little exaggeration for effect, but not really. Its ridiculous what some of these high level AAU teams have.

The overall production for the broadcast was awful though. It really seemed like there was just NO atmosphere there and the announcers, with their complete lack of inflection in their voices, did not help.

I didn’t think they mispronounced Cliff. There was a guy in Miami that had a similar sounding name

That comment is exactly why I posted. The back handed compliments, I could do without.
Agreed the guy never shut up, he was condescending. “the jersey guy who leaves jersey to go to PennState” Tell me as a Rutgersfan, you don’t know that guy!
We learned way too much about what is inside his head. Never a moment to let the game breathe
Dude was unbearable. The shoes comment was Ridiculous.
