Yeah, that doesn't seem like the right thing to say to the press, ugh...
shu will probably play their best game of the year against us, so I'm glad we play them at the RAC this year.
A raucous crowd will fluster Sha and his team.
hope so and why I like the game at the RAC this year...but the ruScrew can never be discounted...(injuries, cold-as-ice shooting, refs, etc)
Shaheen Holloway years ago hit a last second shot from distance at the RAC that had me talking to myself on the drive home.
Jump out to a fast start and SHU might crumble like they did the last time they set foot in the RAC with a better team

After the game - and for years afterwards - all we got from SHU fans was the biggest utter ******** revisionist history - blaming the Powell injury on the loss. Totally laughable. We blew them out of the gym from the very first second.
I think this Seton Hall loss had more to do with Siena players probably knowing Shaheen Holloway's system more than some of the current Seton Hall players knew it themselves. Siena plays St. Peter's 2 times every year. The current Siena coach, 4th season, was 4-2 vs Shaheen at St Peter's, now 5-2. He was an assistant coach for Siena in Shaheen Holloway's first year, 18-19, and Siena went 1-1.

The four off the bench in that game were Caleb, Paul, JY and Carter. Pretty deep squad. Would have loved to have seen that post season play out.

SHU can lose them all heading to the game, or win and have those those want a winning Pirate program come to play RU pos that on their fan board.
Keeping Seton Hall behind RU is the local talent hunt is my reason to want the Hall looking like a loser
Nova is also 2-5 now and lost by double digits to Portland. Safe to say they've taken a big step back without Wright.
Through the years no matter if Ru was bad and SHU good or vice versa these games tend to be close. I expect it to be close again. RU should win as SHU is not really playing well right now and may not be very good this year. RU seems to have potential to be an NCAA team while SHU might be an NIT team if that.
Agreed. RU needs to be pumped and super-focused or we could snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in this rivalry game.
