Still not sure that he deserves to be labeled a wuss... This was an altercation during an NCAA basketball game, and not a street fight... Edert didn't start it, and he responded in kind with a simple slap. Syracuse guys seemed like they wanted blood after he responded... If he confronts the advancing Syracuse guys, the whole situation may have escalated into a major brawl with punches being thrown, and with more players ending up being hurt or suspended, and wth longer suspensions. Not sure if acting like a tough guy would've been justified if that had happened.
