I'm pretty sure that the rugby style doesn't work in the NFL because linemen can't go downfield until the ball is kicked.

Love the guy and he was great for us . But....
The whole dance around and buy time before the kick thing is a non starter in the NFL. He'll be sacked or blocked nearly every time.
Even crap NFL teams have a full compliment of players as good or better than the best 3 or 4 guys on any team he's faced to this point.

You are aware he has been kicking conventionally now for over a season( practice) in order to prepare for the possibility of playing in the NFL. The claim is he can actually kick it far , with height and can directionally kick. Why are Rutgers fans always negative even when we have a player who just may be able to use both techniques. There are many Australian style/Rugby style kickers now in US colleges ( big time ) programs . You don’t think it possible several may not make it? Why not Korsak… I know nobody has done it before…there are several topics over the years that said , “ they’ll never play in the NFL …the game is totally different. “ 25-30 years later those myths have been put to rest.
