zero obviously isn’t ready. He will be good. Our backcourt is out. Touch to win without your backcourt. We should be playing better but yea without Paul and Caleb this year we won’t be good. That seems obvious

It's why I've been very reserved in my reactions to our three blowouts so far, as I just didn't think the competition was worth getting that fired up about. We'll certainly be better with Paul and Caleb - and with playing at a higher intensity level - but I still think we're a middle of the pack B1G team that will hopefully be on the right side of the bubble this year. I forgot to make a prediction, but had been thinking 19-10/9-2 OOC/10-10 B1G (the first three were gimmes).

Watching that half of basketball I would sign up for that it a hot second.

Agree but because our non conference schedule is so poor we once again will need a big big 10 season as we straddle the bubble again

That being said id sacrifice a loss here for a win at Miami

We have no guard play - so much works off of that.

Cam looks out of his league
Simpson not there yet and going through growing pains
Jalen Miller ZERO offense and good defense (but not amazing defense) - not sure that equals a D1 P5 player

Tough to be successful.

You got something to cheer about this game? Please enlighten us, we're all dying to be happy about something we've seen tonight.
Idiot, who's cheering --the same dummies predicting great things now are on the attack--absolutey no consistency or loyalty -- just fair weather fans

Agreed, but also keep in mind this is NOT a Lafayette kind of loss (I know you know that, but not everyone does), as Temple is a pretty good team, as we're seeing - they're a heartbeat away from 3-0 with a win over Nova and Vandy.

Hopefully we don’t screw the pooch against the weaker ooc. That will help vs last year then go 500 in conference and you should be ok

They lost to Wagner as well.

1) They can't have missed Caleb, he hasn't played one minute this year.
2) We have a 2G and CG playing point, let them figure it out. Expect a better 2nd half when they figure it out, hopefully it comes early. It showed vs UMass Lowell, it shows this game.

Temple have taken 19 out of 30 FGs from 3 hitting 7, only 5-11 inside the arc.

We have to space better and pound them inside, Temple has 3 with 2 PFs and 10 total.

Well, let's see what Pike dials up in half #2. The one thing that would help immensely is intensity on both ends, which we just haven't seen. If we can do that, we can make this a game again.

Pike hyped him up as some super athletic 3 point Swedish sharpshooter. He's not athletic, he's slow and sharpshooter, sure if he was shooting a shotgun at the side of a barn.
Oskar couldn't hit Poland if he was standing in Ukraine

Loyalty, we're still watching aren't we? Name calling because you know, your post was stupid. If we weren't loyal we wouldn't give a sh*t and watch.

I have to admit some of the Oskar comments were pretty funny. Why not play him? No one else is doing anything.

Question: Isn't the college basketball HOF is Springfield? Why is the showcase in CT?

The team is having a horrible game so far, but I’m not drawing any conclusions based on one bad half or even one bad game. I think the team, even minus Mulcahy and McConnell are probably a lot better than they are showing tonight. How good (or bad) remains to be seen.

Simpson needs to learn after the 20th time being stuffed this year in 4 games to stop driving into trees. Luckily Cliff bailed him out.
