So RU has announced the opener against Columbia and the Thursday game against Sacred Heart are sold out. Do we think it will be a true sellout? As in every seat filled? I think it could be close to it, especially the student section which should be pumped for basketball to return. That alone may help us out if the game gets too close at all in the second half. I feel like the crowd can bring us home if needed against the smaller teams, if it’s really full and juiced unlike OOC games in years past

Unlike what football did, nearly every seat was actually purchased. Not a 40% sell out and 40% give out and 20% “throw in trash” out.
With that said, all 6k season ticket holders are not going to all of the opening games, especially midweek.
Actual attendance north of 6k for all of the crappy ooc games and if the team close to the tourney, 8k+ for every other game.

There really are very few tickets left after season tickets, mini plans, students.

I'd think Columbia would be close to full given opening night. Sacred Heart much less so but not bad for a Thursday night in November

There is no way the Sacred Heart game is full. There will be a drop off after the season opener
traditionally the student section is not near capacity in these early games.... the way it is now, I can see a good student turnout game one, and, as you say, much less game two.....

Yeah, there's a difference between "sold out" and "full" - I don't think Sacred Heart will have as many butts in seats, but it is sold out.

Right now for our first 8 games, according to sk.com:
11/07 - Columbia (SOLD OUT)
11/10 - Sacred Heart (SOLD OUT)
11/12 - UMass (114 tix left)
11/22 - Rider (SOLD OUT)
11/25 - Central CT (269 tix left)
12/3 - Indiana (SOLD OUT)
12/11 - SHU (SOLD OUT)
12/17 - Wake Forest (65 tix left)
