He’s the real deal. If we protect anyone with NIL, please let it be BrownSmart going with Brown!
Everybody bitches about how we don’t have a passing game. And it’s a valid concern.
But with our D, we can win games by being super boring and conservative. We lost at least a couple games we could’ve won by throwing INTs. Unless we’re down a lot, what we’re seeing today should be how we approach games the rest of the year.
Wont make fans happy. But winning now buys us time to solve passing game problems in the off-season.
it's kinda similar to what the Cowboys have done with Cooper Rush... But I don't know that we have a Micah parsons on our DIts a narrow path to victory thatt wont beat any top league teams
So we won 2 of these againt horrible teams and lost two against okay teams
It requires mistake free football which fortunately we have seen today
If Langan engaged the block AC wouldn't have had to get happy feet.Ahhh AC, you just got too cute.
I’m not saying we shouldn’t work on getting better passing. But don‘t work on it in games we can win. If a team is shredding our D, then we should go ahead and work on the passing game. And we will have a couple/ games like that coming up.Its a narrow path to victory thatt wont beat any top league teams

Enjoy seeing Brown run up the gut into 10 Hoosiers every down with

RU has to avoid turning the ball over.
It worked in the early 2000s tho, to be fair.
Before Teel & Rice were breaking most RU records — Schiano built the D, recruited off of mid-level wins & bowls, developed the line, and focused on very conservative offensive playcalling.
It paid off.
Some of those pieces are coming together.
1) Defense looks great
2) Samuel Brown looks like NFL talent
3) OLine getting better and better
Sssshhhhhhh... PleaseThere you go…see told you down 14 it’s way too early against a team like IU to say it’s over. Whether we win or not who knows but if you’re down two scores with a lot of time you have a chance.
It’s not pretty, but it’s a path to victory while we develop a passing game. And we will get beyond 2 scores down and have to pass anyway. But when we can keep it close, we can win with a slow-paced, time-consuming, grid them out all game long. Just protect the ball and be patient. It worked in the early 2000s tho, to be fair.
