Genuinely, the combo of Gavin and Brown in an Option Offense makes too much sense... Why aren't we trying this?

Actually he doesn't. In particular he's badly overthrowing passes when moving much more, I think because he has problems gripping the ball.
His accuracy has always been an issue. But this time I can understand why.

You don't replace a bad hand with a bad ankle
You only do if you have to throw. But we don’t have to throw much. And with a ton of time left, we need to be extremely patient, unless they score again. Vedral is definitely the most patient QB we have.

Chopped their way into the lead

Indiana has been somewhat passive on offense. Rutgers defense could come up with a deadly blow here

There you go…see told you down 14 it’s way too early against a team like IU to say it’s over. Whether we win or not who knows but if you’re down two scores with a lot of time you have a chance.

Another great drive.

2 great ones today.

That’s already 1 more than we’ve seen all season long

Everybody bitches about how we don’t have a passing game. And it’s a valid concern.

But with our D, we can win games by being super boring and conservative. We lost at least a couple games we could’ve won but instead threw INTs. Unless we’re down a lot, what we’re seeing today should be how we approach games the rest of the year.

Won’t make fans happy. But winning now buys us time to solve passing game problems in the off-season.

Indiana flustered

Rutgers defense coming up big

I think Indiana had the ball for only 90 seconds that quarter
